How it works?

VihaWAVE shockwave therapy works on electromagnetic field principle. Electromagnets in the applicator accelerate a heavy projectile.

PRINCIPLE

A heavy, electromagnetically accelerated, ballistic projectile transfers its kinetic energy to a transmitter head in the applicator. The kinetic energy is transformed into impact energy in the applicator head. Shockwaves result and spread out radially from the contact area into the desired treatment region of the body. The projectile hits the applicator and creates a unique radial wave which is penetrating the tissue.
